His other clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of uveitis (ocular inflammatory disorders), retinal vascular diseases and retinal detachment. Chorich has served as an investigator in a number of clinical research trials studying new treatments for macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other retinal disorders. He lectures at both local and national ophthalmology conferences. Chorich has authored chapters in several ophthalmology textbooks and has contributed to a number of publications in medical journals. He continues to participate in the teaching program as an Assistant Clinical Professor. He has been involved in the training of medical students, ophthalmology residents, and vitreoretinal fellows.
